"Northwoods' Monarch" Every September I camp near Jackson Hole, WY., at the Gros Ventre Campground and I always encounter at least 3 or 4 bull moose, along with cows and younguns. They run through my campsite and have even come sniffing around my tent while I'm in it. It was one of those rare moments that I remained still and quiet. They can easily split open a skull with one kick, but at least I did get to observe their leg structure through my tent window.
